    Facelift Review

I don’t particularly fancy red cars in general but it works very well on the MG5 (I haven’t seen one in person yet as the first cars have just arrived in Norway). It’s a lively color choice for an otherwise old looking car design. Check this walk around.

MG ZS EV Facelift - Have you ordered?

The ZS EV needs press cars shipped to some of the throughly YouTube reviewers, if they haven’t received one yet. Teslabjørn was brutally honest about the software in the SAIC made Maxus Euniq 5 in recent range test, but the Maxus have been on sale for some time. My local dealer have one facelift...

    Vote:-)

I am torn between blue and silver myself. Silver doesn’t show the dirt as much in winter season and blue gives the ZS a bit more personality. I think..

    Another trip to dealers

Is this the complete list of common issues in generation one? I have the facelift on my short list of possible EVs, and I hope MG have addressed the most common reasons to visit a dealer for warranty issues. Thank you.

MG ZS EV Owner shame on you

Looks like there’s also a type 2 on that charger, and two parking slots dedicated for charging, according to a Hermiston Park & Ride spot I found in PlugShare..

    Mgzs official facelift

I think the new no grill front looks nice personally. The angled chrome lines on the bumper looks a bit special, but probably something to get used to. Overall it looks more modern and BEV like, subjectively speaking.

    First towing - NOT impressed

I haven’t towed near the specification limit or own an MG plug-in hybrid. But based on my own experience with my Kia Niro plug-in hybrid it’s very important to maintain sufficient HV battery buffer during towing to avoid draining the battery on long inclines. What others has pointed out about...

    Heating in EV Mode

Good luck with the 2000 mile holiday in a ZS EV, sounds like a fun adventure. :) No doubt the higher service bills on PHEVs are a drawback, but at the same time it’s peanuts relatively to the quick devaluation on any new car, and the cost of skipping a service would not be good for resale and...

    Heating in EV Mode

If burning less petrol to move around helps to reduce overall CO2 emissions than without doubt PHEVs and HEVs helps to reduce climate change. I can only speak from my own experience with a petrol car and a Kia Niro PHEV that the Kia is way more efficient both in hybrid and EV mode than the...

Have the MG5 on shortlist, but have a few questions

Thank you. It’s interesting that you have the laden ground clearance, seems like many manufacturers post the unladen ground clearance. It makes it harder to compare. But I assume this means the MG5 would be average to higher than many non cross over / SUVs on the road.

Have the MG5 on shortlist, but have a few questions

    4) By the way, are there any good luggage nets for the MG5 (to separate boot from second row)?

Have the MG5 on shortlist, but have a few questions

Hi. I’ve put the MG5 facelift on my shortlist of potential EVs. I have some questions I could not find answers for. 1) What’s the ground clearance of the current UK MG5? 2) There’re rumors that the MG5 Electric 2021 for Europe is delayed, does anyone have any details on this? 3) Is the rear...
