  2. Using V2L to keep electricity bill lower

    This is confusing for new owners as later cars do have to be powered up before you can use V2l. It may work on your car car but not on all cars as it has been explained before.

    On my trophy long range the V2l times out after a few minutes following your routine. The only way V2l continues to discharge for any length of time for using the tumble dryer the car has to be in the on state with the drls on. The car is still undriveable as it recognises the connected cable.

    Has anyone found a way of using V2l without the drl's on. I have managed to tumble dry the washing by having the car powered but if you lock the car as you would when charging it shuts down the discharge after a couple of minutes.     ZS Trophy LR in red, ordered 1/12/21 from MG Chorley. No delivery date yet. Can only hope.
