Hi all. 12 months in with our mg ZS ev and loving it.
My wife attracts punctures so I was looking for a full spare whatever is cheaper steel or alloy.
Anyone have any recommendations?
Also there are a few wheels on eBay from the old zs ev, are they compatible?
Spec of ours says 7Jx17 ET41...
The new normal for ev driving is 65mph if you want decent range. I recently did our first big ish journey to Manchester airport and back. Fully loaded with 5 people and suitcases at 65 in the motorway was bib on for range. I did 75 in the way back and used 40% more battery.
You can remove my entry. Collected a different spec vehicle from Threeways garage Abergele yesterday. The blue TLR we ordered in Feb still says on shortage.
Fantastic car so far. My only complaint is MG not fitting locking wheel nuts.
Went to my dealer yesterday to look at an MG4 as they had just had some in. Half way through the conversation they offered me a ZS Trophy LR in black (we ordered blue) which had turned up. Apparently they had been given one too many demonstrators in this new batch of deliveries. And yes we...
The dealer I spoke to said they had a few warranty issues with MGs and MG uk couldn’t/wouldn’t help. They are a reputable dealer who sell numerous Asian brands
Anyone care to comment on MG Aftersales / warranty claim experience?
I was ringing round dealers this morning just to see if they have any new stock and one (who shall remain nameless) has cancelled their contract with MG due to lack of aftersales support. Given the whole debacle Over order...
MG is in chaos. They are in the middle of a cull of small dealerships, can’t help but feel this is related to the erratic order fulfilment. My dealer today was given yet another estimate to quote for new orders of ZS evs of 45 weeks...
Im thinking the same. My dealer has some MG4s coming in. We’ll swap if there is a long range one in there, but they have no idea what they are being sent.
It’s more nuanced than that. MG get orders shipped then decide who get them. There is no link between orders and the factory.
MG uk could do things more fairly but they are choosing not to.
