Yes RN88R that's something I was thinking as the horn beep means a door is open or a key left inside. As the spare key in at home it could very well be a door switch but then if I shutdown the car with the menu the car then locks so it's a weird problem.
That's the problem, I can't replicate it. It happens randomly. But I will take it to the dealer, I just thought someone else had the same problem but it looks like I'm the only one :(
Boot is closed, if it wasn't a light would be on dash. Spare key is at home. This happens randomly.
I just replaced the battery but the old one is 3volts so it's not the battery
I usually can't lock my car first time. The horn beeps. The solution is to go into the menu on the info screen and shutdown the car. I've tried opening and closing all the doors and making sure the car is in park. Sometimes the screen says cannot detect keyfob. Any ideas?
It still happens, not all the time but sometimes. I'm going to ring the dealer this morning to see if they can have a look at it. It has to be a sensor methinks. If I shutdown the car manually I can use the keyless locking and the keyfob locking.
I just collected my MG4 today and I have to shut down the car using the menu before I can lock the car. I checked the doors and boot and they seem to be closed ok, there's no warning light telling me a door isn't closed properly. There must be something simple but I'm stumped.
I was contacted by my dealer and he wanted to change my order to a lr trophy mg4 so I went for it. Couldn't wait any longer and the mg4 is a nice car. I'll be waiting weeks now not months
I ordered 4th April this year ZS EV SR Trophy battersea blue. Have been told now it's looking like next year before I get delivery. I hope it doesn't take long, I had my home charger installed back in August so I'm ready to go
