Hi,
I've seen a few posts that mention a checklist to run through when collecting the MG4. I am collecting ours tomorrow so if there is a link to a good checklist I'd appreciate it. It might be worth putting into the tips and hints pinned thread on here too.
Many thanks!
We got our reg a couple of weeks before it was delivered to the dealer. Took about a week for insurance sites to actually see the car it was registered to. I believe they first reserve the registration and then once they're more sure the car is coming they'll register it to the VIN.
It won't be something that can just be turned on with existing cars, perhaps a future updated revision might have it but true V2G usually involves bi-directional DC charging with a suitable charging point. I doubt that's something they have engineered in but just disabled.
Epsom seem to have every single spec and colour marked as available, that's incredibly unlikely but I'll call them tomorrow just in case. Have had my order in with Chiswick since the end of July.
The neighbours across from us had people get into their car, took a handbag and some newly bought clothes from the boot. They were walking around with a backpack presumably with a repeater in and checking which cars unlocked. They aren't able to drive away as the signal would be lost but they...
That depends on how you treat your car, our last car an '03 Honda Civic was going along just fine until some numpty smashed into it while it was parked outside our house on a quiet estate road back in January.
Just called up MG Chiswick and was told that I am guaranteed to receive my blue SE LR before the end of December but that's the best they can promise at the moment. I'm hoping to hear back from them again once they know what stock they are getting. It seems that some dealers are getting more...
With regards to the cost of running an electric car don't forget with a little more investment you can make your own fuel for it. I doubt you can do that with an ICE. Taking about solar of course, even a modest 3kw set of panels would be enough to keep most peoples cars fully charged assuming...
I'd be surprised if it had a heat pump for the UK, it doesn't usually get cold enough here to warrant the extra expense. Probably going to be an option in colder countries
I hope so! I'd just be surprised, it seems like a no-brainer to me if you're not interested in paying the £3k extra for the Trophy. The main temptation for me is the rear-camera, I believe you mentioned previously that the SE gets no rear camera at all, only sensors. I've had a couple of rentals...
With regards to the 800 SE SR, 200 SE LR and 1000 Trophy vehicles in the first batch I am surprised that they don't anticipate more of a demand for the SE LR, or is it simply a matter of prioritising the Trophy version when handing out the larger battery packs as it is likely to make them more...
