AFAIK, the size of the plate isn't mandated, the size of lettering and spacing is, so, either of those plates would be legal subject to letter size and spacing being correct. I stand to be corrected.

It sounds like the 12v battery reading. that is on the left of the righthand gauge and in ready mode should show 14.1v

I don't think the integrity of the roof has ever been in question, just the rails fitted to the exclusive.

Check the manual under maintenance, changing wiper blades, there is a bit in there about putting the blades into service mode.
