They aren't commencing manufacture of the new MG5 in RHD until August, so it's likely to be November before we see them in the UK. I believe there will be 1000 cars available before end of December (but that's only 6 per dealership!).

It's the same for all manufacturers at the moment. Nissan's Ariya has one of the shorter lead times. I ordered one last week, which is showing as September delivery. £45k though. 🤷‍♂️

Depends how much deposit you'd want to put down. The private purchase cost of the MG5 facelift in Sweden is 420,000kr (£34,000), and the example finance over 36 months is 20% deposit = 84,000kr (£6800), 4640kr (£375) per month, with a 50% balloon = 210,000kr (£17,000). Plus fees. I don't know...

We've just put up a new offer (obviously time limited till Wednesday) for the MG5 LR Exclusive at £3,999 deposit, £299 per month (works out around £25 a month less than the low deposit offer I posted above, when you amortise the deposit over the term - £1200 saving over 4 years)...

The lack of stock of all vehicles, across all brands, is making it tough for dealers. Pretty much every model of every brand is 6-12 months lead time.

The metallic paint doesn't make a jot of difference. The grant is based on the RRP inc VAT, inc delivery fee, but doesn't include optional paint etc. So if the Arctic White one qualifies, then the Dynamic Red does as well.

The addition of paint colour doesn't make it fall foul of the grant level. It only matters if the optional extra effects the vehicle's range or performance.

If the dealer had started a grant application, then the grant is locked in at the £2500 level.

No, it's 5.9% APR with the Affinity prices. 0% is not available with other offers (as it involves a manufacturer subsidy to obtain the 0% rate).
