Very interesting posts - my MG4 will be one on 13th March - best charging range summer 304 miles - cold January this went down to 223 - overnight with slighter warmer weather 239 !! Have asked for battery check on first years service !!

I am just doing short journeys of about 20+ miles per time but I am showing after a charge around 179 miles on eco !!

As I have mentioned earlier my range had improved somewhat since MG did the software updates and the battery reboot - 177 seems the best after charge but I do need a longer journey to put it to the test !!

After the software updates and a battery re-boot in recent weeks after 6 charges this morning in eco shows 197 mile range - much much more than the 129 in the very cold weather and before battery re-boot - wonder if anyone else is reporting battery recovery !!!

After the battery re-boot last week getting 159 and 177 on eco mode !! Seems like a new car although on charge it is taking a little more electricity - MG say the cells have been revigorated and will take a tad more !!

If you use a granny charger with an extension lead you must make sure the extension lead is correct otherwise the granny charger will not work - bought a very substantial extension lead snd no probs but when first used the lawnmower extension lead not enough to pull current thru !!
