    Auto dimming mirror

Good idea, but the top spec ICE is also a manual mirror :(

MG ZS EV. VS MG ZS EV Facelift.

You have both wheel sizes wrong. It's 215/50/R17 to 215/55/R17

    Zs Ev Bonnet Protection

You could get it covered with paint protection film, but I'm not aware of any deflectors available. It's not very prone to chipping in normal use, mine did over 17K before I sold it with no chips to the bonnet at all.

New ZS EV supplied with wrong mats.....

Mine came with the Petrol Auto mats, which fit perfectly, and as I got them for free, I can live with the MG logo rather than the EV logo :) Your dealer must be acting a bit thick, as the manual Petrol mats are obviously wrong!

    Paint protection

Actually the vast majority of cars leave the factory with perfect paint. They then usually get very dirty during transit, waiting in all weathers on filthy docksides, compounds, ships and transporters. The dealers then wash them after arrival during pdi. This is where all the damage is done. The...

    Auto dimming mirror

That's exactly how you remove it. Be careful it will probably be tight.

    Towbar on MG ZS EV

Doesn't have to be a warning light, audiable is fine and kits for wiring without messing up or effecting the original system are readily available. The only issue is the lack of type approval. I think most would be happy with 500kg for small trailer towing, its not as if you'd be pulling a...

    Towbar on MG ZS EV

Fitting one is perfectly legal, you just can't legally tow with it on a public road!

    Towbar on MG ZS EV

Thats exactly it. The Petrol towbar fits perfectly, and I'm absolutely sure pulling a small trailer will be just fine, but no type approval has been done, so the car has no tow rating, therefore we can't legally tow with it. In reality, no one will ever pick up on it if you did tow with it and...

Questions on fitting new headlight bulbs ....

Technically yes, but mot testers are not allowed to dismantle anything to look and as the bulb type can not be visually seen through the headlight unit in the case of our cars, as long as the beam pattern is correct, they'll be oblivious to what bulb type you have in there. ;)

    Headlights

I've just bought a set of these and sent back the 12k lumen set I bought a couple of weeks back, I'm looking forward to trying them. :)

    Headlights

The lights on our cars really are lousy, I tried brighter halogens at first, still rubbish. I've now got a pair of 12k lumen LED's waiting to fit, but having seen your 20k set, I'm tempted to send them back and buy a set of those!

    Auto dimming mirror

I bought my mirror from a Chinese ebay seller, no longer selling there, but there are many available on Aliexpress. Here is one example: US $47.5 20% OFF|GreenYi Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror Monitor with Original Special Bracket Safer Driving for Toyota VW Renault Kia Hyundai|auto dim rear...

    Auto dimming mirror

Hmm... I suppose it depends on your level of ability lol!! It was a simple job for me, but I have extensive auto electrical experience and technical abilities. Might not be for others. It's certainly not an off the shelf solution, you need to source the correct adapter to mate the new mirror to...

    Auto dimming mirror

Finally got this installed today: It also displays internal temperature in the corner, (can also show external, but the comfort 2 update has saved me having to wire an external sensor!) can you spot the temperature probe? If you can't see it, it's in the top card slot, near the left hand...
