Mine will be pre-July 2021 being built March 2021, but it really doesn't make sense why it would be on different service scheduling if the cars are not drastically different. Only thing that changed was the recent $1k increase of the model in July.
It's just a little confusing. Welcome the...
For a fraction more $$$ I got a 22kW rated type 2 cable as it's future proofing my purchase and it can be used by others if needed.
It will still only limit charging to 7kW but if I upgrade my car with increased capacity I don't have to fork out for another cable.
Got mine from here - Type 2...
I agree with a lot of these points.
In Australia, we have very few choices and the MG satisfied our desire to get into the EV market. Our ICE is a VW 2015 GOLF TSI and this is what my comparisons are to. EV benefits aside and just compared to build the Golf is very intuitive and bit more...

IS THE MG ZS EV BATTERY COVERED UNDER THE MG 8 YEAR WARRANTY?
Yes, the battery is covered under the MG 8 year...
I've never thought about having them on the car, but with the poor HVAC performance and possible need to restrict the AC usage and open up the these might need to be an essential accessory in the aussie heat.
Do people recommend them?
Are there slim ones available?
Any decent after market...
TeslaBjorn on his YT vid noted the usage from his calculations were approx. 42.5kWh
@BarryH All the things you efficiencies you suggest could add some range but it is still a massive jump, and the post above your from @nishadks suggests a slight "real world" improvement based on the Indian...
Hi @Tim Green
See @JodyS21 comment below.....It's surely differing testing regime. Maybe heat pump HVAC system? I don't know. I still thought this 2021 indian model was the same as the one we have here in Australia currently. (Still unsure tbh as I still haven't had a definitive answer as...
The subsidy, supposedly was introduced to alleviate pressure from cross benches and public outcry in regards to the draconian EV road tax. (The tax to replace the fuel excise lost from EV use to pay for roads building/maintenance.....which aren't even funded from fuel excise taxes....straight up...
Hi @Wayne H ,
Was interested in your experience and you mentioned obtaining front sensors. We noted the lack of these on our recent test drive, so was wondering how you were able to get these and how much these were?
I tried to look at MG website for full accessories list but you have to...
I've taken time now to dig a little deeper and downloaded the brochure from the Indian site and finally found the following subnote relating to the range – *The range figure is based of ICAT certification in test conditions.
ICAT appears to be International Centre of Automotive Technology...
Can anyone say if the this Indian updated "longer range" 2021 version cost the same as the previous EV version?
Or if the testing of the increased range was more relaxed hence further distance under ideal condition rather than Real World Conditions?
In Australia we currently have the ZS EV...
That's really great. I don't have many 110km/hr stretches around us unless we go north towards the NSW border on the Hume highway.
We do have the Great Ocean Road near us so with ample regen/kers opportunity around bends we would easily get similar sort of range.
I'll watch your YouTube at...
Hi all,
I was on the hunt for a list of car accessories as the Australian website is next to useless for getting detailed information on the car......
Anyway, the claimed range on the Indian MG website (here) claims a range of 419km!!! Snipped screenshot below for reference. I can't find the...
