Thank you for the replies. I'll ask a windscreen company and MG to see if there's anything that can be done and report back if it helps anyone else in the future. Very frustrating, but good to know it won't effect the safety systems.

Oh ok...That one. Anyone any knowledge of if this would be a lens replacement or whole camera etc? First time I really looked straight down over it today, but if someone does back into your car when parking for example, it's likely the first thing to touch unfortunately.

Help...I thought the auto cruise control seemed a little jerky today and thought I'd check that the front camera wasn't dirty (although I think it mainly uses radar anyway). I went to wipe it and noticed that the lens on the front camera, which sticks out from the front bumper was cracked!! Not...

I hate to say it, but I didn't have to do anything to get it working, other than connect to BT. I did update the firmware on the device, but it was working before that too.

Has anyone managed to get AA and MG voice both working on a trophy yet?

AA was and is working fine including when at the dealers, it's the addition of wireless that I initially had issues with (i.e. not a dealers responsibility). Of course I ensured everything was working before driving away.

So it would seem an incompatibility with Hello MG operating alongside...Sounds like a manufacturer fix by software to me. Anyone have any idea how we can lobby for a bug fix?

AA voice commands only work for me when the vehicle is stationary Great news! As you reactivate and then deactivate Hello MG, does this leave Hello MG deactivated or does that work too?

It would be really helpful to know your findings, or at least if it is AA app or firmware related?

Same issue with me recently too. I'm using a Pixel 7 pro and doesn't matter if I use wired or wireless (via an adapter).

I have these ones too...Have you removed the protective film from the lettering (took a while to do) as the lettering on mine seems a lot shinier?

You're right that it uses Bluetooth on Android Auto too, but if you used an app that is compatible with Android Auto to play it you 'might'? get the ability to skip within a track through that app? I'm not 100% sure, but it might be worth a try.

I've not tried it for podcasts myself, I'm sure someone in the know properly will be along shortly, but... If you are streaming the podcasts (i.e. from your phones data connection and then via Bluetooth music), it will often not be able to skip within a track. I think it's device dependent, but...

It would be good to be able to turn the brightness down, although I did note you can do this on voice command recently. Perhaps even a few customisations (changing widgets or backgrounds etc).

The CarLinkit A2A actually has a passthrough USB A for charging too so you don't lose a charging port.
