Over on the Polestar Forum regarding range and how to optimise it ... Latest thinking is drive the car without any regen ... at all. At first I was like no, really, but I've tried it and it really works. The car can really coast without regen (at 2,000kg it's got a lot of momentum), so...

Yeah, wasn't 100% sure about that but all the 0-60 figures say it's slower, on paper ... 7.9s in the 4 v 7.5s in the 5 :unsure:

I do love my MG5 (drive, range, features) but it is one ugly car :( Seen a few MG4 in the flesh now and it is one hot car :love: Could I justify the £10k to trade up, for a few extra miles of range, a better (but slower?) drive and a bit more tech (App). Tell me I'm mad for even considering it...

With regenerative braking the brake lights only activate if the rate of deceleration is over a certain threshold such that it is necessary to notify other drivers. "The threshold in the UK is that for deceleration greater than 1.3m/s² the brake light signal must be generated"

Anything over 60mph kills your m/kWh score. I try and keep at or below 60mph at all times - traffic conditions permitting. And I try not to floor it more than I have to.

Yeah, me ... at home at least, never had any issue with overheating socket. On Economy 7 I can get about a third of the battery charged overnight.
