We have never got around to having the windows tinted in our Gen 1 ZS EV, but we really should have. Its get very hot in the sun sometimes, especially with the pano roof. I believe that the new orders have stronger privacy glass at the rears, presumably in addition to mild tinting all over, but...

That's a shame, but I'm sure the car will go to a good home! I must be wrong then, but I thought that the new ZS EV, unlike the first gen ones, did have window tinting. Even the pre July 2022 orders that still had a pano roof.

Does this new-car-discount.com sound too good to be true? Saying they have the long range Trophy ZS EVs in stock next month, when everyone else seems to be waiting a year for them. Does anyone have any experience of buying from these people?

We got our 2 and a half year old ZS EV Exclusive (just under 6k miles) valued recently, hopefully for a MG4 part exchange. Excellent condition, it was valued at between £21k and £22k. I'm surprised they would value at "showroom condition" for a used car, especially one that has done 30k miles...

I'm in the same boat as you about the MG4 - will the boot fit my golf clubs in??! I don't mind if I have to put the bag in the boot and the woods on the back seat.

I can understand the rationale for no sunroof, but surely there should be a price reduction, as wasn't the sunroof the biggest benefit of the trophy over the SE?

Thanks, just seemed odd, and I wondered if the mechanic mistakenly thought it was a newer model, which presumably have different tyres, as they have a higher recommended pressure.

Last week my MG was in the garage for a service, and I've just noticed that they seem to have changed my tyre pressures. I assume that the Technical Data from your post is for the new model? Mine is the old model, and the Technical Data in that manual states the pressure at 2.3, not 2.8. Before...

So your second service cost the same as mine did. Mine included the AA extension too and a bear (Mya the bear this time, as it was my daughter's turn to have it!). There was no mention of any software updates having been done, perhaps there weren't any needed as mine were all updated last year.

I've requested a bear, and they noted this down on my paperwork! The AA cover should be automatic, but I'll check when I pick the car up. There isn't really another convenient dealer for me, so I didn't get another quote.
