I read that the Xpower ride height is supposedly higher than the lesser powered MG4, although I’m not sure by how much? So I think it’s probably more a 20-25mm drop compared to a Trophy? Looking at the picture shown, I doubt very much it would hit any speed bumps.

Probably has nothing to do with the geometry, but I’m just wondering by lowering the car, it would have reduced the driveshaft angle from gearbox/ transfer box to the wheel, it might reduce the vibration at speed a lot of Xpower owners complaining about. Obviously I have no technical knowledge...

Took my car in for its first service last month, the dealership did a couple of software updates. The only improvement that I’ve noticed is the auto headlights seems to be much less eager to turn itself on now👍

At least it can be retrofit it, and Australia is also RHD, if worse comes to the worse, owners here could order this damper kit from Australia, it can’t be that hard to fit it yourself , right?

I wonder if it’s possible to put the wheel trim cover of the extended range directly onto the Xpower alloys, that’ll be perfect.

Why not take another test drive but this time on motorway obviously.

That’s true, matt Green or red callipers , unless the diamond cut 18”alloys is also exclusive to the Xpower? Not sure if ER has the same alloys though?

The 5n should be interesting with the sound, best of both world, hope it doesn’t sound fake? I had a ride in the Maserati Ghibli diesel years ago but it has like speakers in the exhaust (I think) it sounded like a proper V8, absolutely amazing !

I paid 650 QUID!! For my SE LR, over a hundred pound more than my previous Tesla model 3 performance which has more than twice the power twice the cost and twice the performance of the MG! I guess that’s the price of having one of the first on the road when not many insurance companies quoting??

4WD does have more traction and could power out of corner far more aggressively without drama. My current LR will spin its rear wheels even if I accelerate harder in a straight line. Definitely needs more care when entering into a bend. Edit: spins its rear wheels in wet conditions, traction...

It could well be the start of a new trend, fake calliper covers, we’ll soon see them on base models of every motor manufacturer 😆 The most popular trend at the moment are those swiping indicators, it’s so gimmicky, cheapens the car imo.
