Battery balancing and battery redistribution refer to techniques that improve the available capacity of a battery pack with multiple cells (usually in series) and increase each cell's longevity. A battery balancer or battery regulator is an electrical device in a battery pack that performs battery balancing. Balancers are often found in lithium-ion battery packs for laptop computers, electrical vehicles. etc.

I'm currently running my SOC to around 10% so I can do the 10% - 100% charge and balance the battery, however I have an off peak tariff (5 hours) and don't think my car will get to 100% in that window.
The manual states this...
Hi, I am a low mileage driver. I picked up my trophy at 99%, went down to 30% and then charged to 80%. The dealer told me that i need to go to 10% at the first time and then charge to 100% for balance charging.
The reason that I only charged to 80% its because someone said at MG community...
