balancing
In computing, load balancing is the process of distributing a set of tasks over a set of resources (computing units), with the aim of making their overall processing more efficient. Load balancing can optimize the response time and avoid unevenly overloading some compute nodes while other compute nodes are left idle.
Load balancing is the subject of research in the field of parallel computers. Two main approaches exist: static algorithms, which do not take into account the state of the different machines, and dynamic algorithms, which are usually more general and more efficient but require exchanges of information between the different computing units, at the risk of a loss of efficiency.
Feel the need for a little clarification on this, as the word 'balancing' had now tested its head in a few threads I've watched......
Until now, I've not known about balancing....
Not discussed at all during the purchase process.

This is in addition to the very poor fast charging and very low battery capacity compared to specification.
Max charge rate ever has been 36kW. Spec 76kW.
Max charge from zero to full...
I have had a Long Range trophy MGEV 4 since May 2023. I have a home charager and I just charge to 80% of capacity. I notice that some posters refer to a Balancing Charge whch is supposed to be done every 6 months or so.What is this and how do I activate it.
Hey everyone
Saw a vid on YouTube on battery balancing for the MG4 so wondered how important it is.
I've never done it nor was I advised by the dealer to do it (had the car about 4 months from new). Did a search on here but only found info related to the ZS.
So:
Should I do it for my MG4...
