⚡️⚡️MG ZS CHARGING/DOORS LOCKED⚡️⚡️

Hi all
Just a quick question
When my son is charging his 2020 ZS exclusive if he charges on a rapid charger he can charge with the doors unlocked
BUT
When he charges at home on granny charger or zappi 2 charger he has to lock the doors to initiate a charging.If the doors are unlocked it stops charging
Is this normal ?

Are you sure it isn't pausing temporarily?

This car needs an update to be installed. I think it's the BMS. The dealer should be able to install it. Probably needs other updates too.

If it hasn't had that one it probably needs others too.

Mine's the same, I always lock it and leave it when charging at home or away on AC anyway so it's no big deal for for me.
FWIW if you re-lock it, it will resume charging.
