Whenever I hear someone who is anti -EV or anti renewables I'm always suspicious as to their motives. That doesn't mean that any criticism is invalid - you just need to be wary of it in the light of the deliberate misinformation that is being pushed all over the media and the internet.

40 degrees C might damage the battery or the tyres on EVs BULLsh..t who rights this rubbish and gets paid for doing so, the only reason that an EVs tyres might get hotter than a ICE vehicle is because they could be going round quicker .

I’m sure that’s what the BMS and cooling system are for

What a load of tosh in the article! Two things especially come to mind: “Unlike with a petrol or diesel car where it makes sense to fill the tank to get the most out of your car..." - makes the ICE car heavier, so much less economical to start with. And using eco all the time means aircon is less efficient and power is reduced, so a less pleasant journey.
