Not sure if these are well known, but after a few thousand miles I've found a couple of workarounds for a couple of R40 bugs.
1) radio not turning on - if it doesn't come on you only have to press the up volume on the steering wheel and hey presto
2) If your android auto is in day mode at night and blinding you with the white, turn lights off and on again and it'll go into night mode, it's the light transition from off to on that sets it
New annoyance, anyone know a workaround?
If you indicate and the camera comes on, you cannot change driving modes on the custom button. So if it's a dodgy junction and you want sport but are in eco, you have to turn the indicator off, exit camera view, change mode, then indicate again
