2025 HS PHEV Navigation issue

Hi.
I have noticed an issue and wondered if anyone has a similar issue.
The navigation screen only remains in the dark mode even if the screen setting is set to light/dark/Auto.
The screen is ok as it only affects the Navigation.
The issue is intermittent and only I can nearly all the time rectify it by scrolling through t the different screen settings as listed above.
This happened the other night when I also had the navigation on the drivers screen but you couldn’t see anything as it was totally blacked out.
Happened on the way home again today in full daylight.
Would like to know if others have had the same issue and if it was fixed etc

I occasionally get the same thing happening. I have found the best way to resolve it is to switch the lights from “Auto” to “On” and then back to “Auto”.
Fingers crossed that it works for you too.

I think I tried that but to be honest I can’t remember what the outcome was, I’ll try it again next time it happens.
I was reading another thread on software update and believe there maybe an R62 version out, not sure if that’s the latest or what’s in my vehicle at present had it since April this year.
Will check tomorrow and maybe book it in as a fault and see what comes from it.

I took mine back to MG, who tried to correct this with a software update, but it was unsuccessful, so they contacted technical china who agreed for both screens to be replaced.
They have worked perfectly ever since.

Could’ve ask did it only affect the navigation screen as the other screen options work ok switching between light and down with no problems.

Likewise, when mine was misbehaving, it was affecting both screens.

Exactly same as mine, at the moment it’s behaving, I know if I take it to mg they are going to say couldn’t find a fault

For me every time it happened I took a picture some day time, some night time. I showed them all to the dealer so they took the car in. They left the car locked for a short time and when they started the car the error showed as you seen in my previous post.

I can't comment on what mine does, as I always have 'dark' set by choice!
