HI,
Is anyone using apple phones having problems with connecting to iSmart today?
I keep getting 'The service is not available, please try again later' message. Been doing this since last night so I can't change the charge percentage to 100% and I am due to leave on holiday! So, couldn't use my ohme smart charge rate. Tried all the usual tricks: remote lock the door and then unlock (strangely that worked) the remainder just returned the above message or 'failed'
I have to say I am getting rather tired of this - it happens fairly often and almost always when I am in a hurry.

Just tried mine now and working fine.
Sometimes the car looses connection. Unlock and lock it again see if that helps. Normally works for me.

Can confirm working for me. You can also set the charge percentage on the infotainment screen inside the car if the app won’t let you.

It works better for me now. I don't get the message of "wait until the car wakes up" or something like that anymore.

Thanks for the reply guys, tried all the usual tricks like locking/unlocking etc. but all have failed and the problem still persists, been going on for days. Suspect I may have to unbind and then rebind my phone. But loath to do this. Has anyone tried this before and have any tips, instructions etc. to guide me?

Stupid question maybe, but ... have you tried getting into the car and putting it into the READY state? (i.e. get ready to drive the car without actually doing so).

I tried everything honestly and nothing worked. But here is an update on the issue.
This very morning 29/04/2025), after charging the car to 100% the ismart app suddenly started again!
Coincidence or not I really don't know, but I can say that even the settings were back to my original format (i.e. Measurement: Imperial System). Maybe I was too impatient - I only waited about a week!
Anyway, if anyone is interested, I am about to put pen to paper and write a separate post about my recent experience with my car and its' infamous software. I will entitle it 'A cautionary tale for MG 4 EV owners' in the general chat forum. Have a look a little later after I have completed it. I promise all of it is true and it happened on Sunday evening (27/4/2025) hope it helps our community to avoid some of the issues I managed to get myself into...............
