Other posts from me will tell you the issue I have experienced but a quick recap.

Radio signal is very intermittent at best.
Infotainment System freezes telling you vehicle in motion when its not.
Locked in for 90 Mins before (Smashed window to get out)
Smoke pouring out of air vents (Caught Fire)
Water ingress in rear light

I have liaised at all times with the dealership (FG Barnes, Maidstone) but now got the finance company involved. 9 months of false promises by the dealership, 16 times in the garage, 13 software updates, 2 new rear light covers fitted (water ingress) and still the issues persist, only got the car in January 2023!!!!
MG Customer service simply tell me to speak with the dealership, dealership now gone bust but still gotta pay the monthly payment!!!
Nest stop Ombudsman and the courts I think!!

NEVER BUY MG
 
If you're paying on finance then you can raise a Section 75 claim against the finance company. So the dealer going bust is largely irrelevant to you getting a resolution.

Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 makes the finance provider jointly and severally liable for the performance of the contract. So if you have a claim against the seller, you have an equal claim against the finance provider. :)
