A few minor bugs

By the way, there is talk of a double-tap to Autohold. I never double tap, just pushing the brake a bit harder than necessary to stop switches on Autohold immediately.
Same here, i was a little confused to start with too. I suppose it's because people are only pressing the pedal lightly to come to a complete stop thus they have to "con" the car in to doing it by pressing the brakes on, off, on.

Seem much more logical to push pedal all the way down as you stop to activate auto hold like you say. Although, I do wish pressing the brakes again had no impact to auto-hold (like how it operates on many other cars) as brakes should be brakes, and a quick tickle of the accelerator risks no mishaps if you've just stretched your legs out.

Just got my MG4 XPower on Friday. There are a few small issues I have noticed.

  1. Driver's door button seems to be intermittent. Have to press a few times to unlock. When I close the door it usually doesn't lock and I have to press the remote. Assuming this is a door switch error, that I can get fixed at the service which is due. If I am making a mistake then I would like to know.
  2. The previous owner used Apple Play but rather than plug in a cable he installed a USB Dongle. He left it in the car for me. I also paired my phone to the MG4 Bluetooth. My phone now connects with both devices, but the Apple Play does not operate unless I disconnect from the MG4. Thinking having both is the problem. Anyone else had a similar issue?
  3. The interior lights start to flicker after being on for about 5 mins. This is a bit annoying. I think they are the original bulbs. Am planning to swap them out for the LED equivalents.
  4. One Pedal Mode seems to turn off each time I drive. This is one where I should not be a lazy git and look it up in the manual.
That is all I can think of at the moment, however I am sure to have more questions soon.

TIA, all help appreciated.

Oh one Forum Question - How does one do the @user in the post?
My dealer said the door button issue is common.
They had a replacement handle but it took a week or so to get it painted the white I needed.
Since replacement a few months ago I've had no issues.
