Abnormal fuel warning message

Is this the MG ismart apps way of telling me to put petrol in. HD ‘Fuel Alert’ on the dash and this message in the app. Just dipped below 10% in the tank.

Thanks. Seems rather dramatic but I'm relieved that's all it is. Had the car since July and have only put fuel in once so have never seen the message come up before.

A friend had a similar problem with their hybrid Volvo, it refused to pre heat last winter because fuel had been in too long.
