Well I've tried everything except the 10mm spanner and deleting ABRP.
I wanted to use google maps to drive home, but couldn't get to it.

The home button on ABRP does nothing.
I want to use ABRP for our trip to Bridgetown tomorrow, so don't want to delete it yet.
But I want my Android Auto menu back, there's other stuff on there I use.

Anybody got any ideas I may have missed, (quite likely)

I found that ABRP screwed AA if it wasn't the paid version. I uninstalled it from the phone and I got AA back working.
ABRP is a buggy piece of...
The 'paid' version does work and lets you swap out of it and back into AA.
I only paid for it for a while and no longer have it installed on the phone. I use the web version to pre-plan trips occasionally but that's it.

From what's described, I would say that the ABRP app has a fundamental flaw ... a bug. There's no way any app (even free) should hijack the phone's mirror casting (Android Auto) and prevent other AA functionality. I'd suggest reporting this as a bug on the ABRP app page in the Play Store, together with a really low star rating.

That said - I thought ABRP free wasn't supposed to support AA?

Strange situation for me, I paid for the pro version, but trial ,period hasn't ended, more fool me!
So yes, it works on AA sort of, seems to do everything except let me get the menu back.
Once it's seen a dongle the manual set of SoC no longer works, even if the dongle is pulled out.

I'll plug the OBD dongle back in, so it knows we're at 100% then see if today's route make sense. The uninstall the thing so we have our normal car back.

Pics of trip and a report on this on another thread coming up.

That didn't go well, not good for matrimonial harmony.
Although we were half hour ahead of schedule. The wife must have got impatient, and tried to hurry me up. That didn't help me try to figure out how to include a side track in the route. The wife then took a great disliking to the route it was showing, and it was too hard to explain that it wasn't the direct route I was worried about, I wanted to know how the detour would affect the range. So I threw a wobbly and disconnected the whole thing. As it was we got here with 38% remaining.
However the supposedly 28kW charger here, is now giving me a hard time, dropping in and out, only giving 1kW then 3kW, I'm checking it ever half hour to make sure we'll have enough charge for the morning.

last time it started it was at 1kW now it's gone to 3.3kW all by it self.
The car is set to max, which should be 7kW, it's supposed to be a 28W charger, but our car is only single phase so 7kW should be doable.
It's been going OK for half hr now so fingers crossed, it's OK now.

Sound like 11kW being split over three phases (so your single phase only carries around 3.5kW). I’ve seen this before with a “22 kW” charger that split the 22 between the A and B ports, and then the port became an 11kW charger, giving me only 3.3kW through my single phase inverter…

Not sure how that would pan out with a 28kW charger though.

Maybe I heard wrong, and it's a 22kW job.
I've given upon it now, changed to a 1kW granny charger, at least that's consistent and doesn't keep dropping in and out.
I noticed a big red reset button on the charger, I might see if that improves things in the morning

Almost certainly a "22kW" capable 3 phase AC charger configured to support 11kW charging, being 16A on each phase.

For a single phase charging car such as your MG4 this is indeed only 3.5kW.

When we put in our "22kW" Tesla wall charger I got my son to rig it up with 32A to each phase so it would do 7kW to my wife's "51" and 11kW to my "77".

Reset button didn't help, back on the granny charger.
100% predicted 0400 tomorrow morning.
3 chargers side by side in Nannup, but they all need different apps that I don't have. So gave them a miss.
