I wanted him to link phone and get the sat nav logged in precisely because I’d read of the problems people had getting it linked. As it happened he took 3 attempts on the forecourt before all was sorted. I’d downloaded the manual for a read well before I picked it up. Did the same for the iD3 as well but covid restricted handover a bit. I learned that it’s advantageous to play your cards close to your chest sometimes.?

When I get a new-to-me car, I usually drive it totally myself without using all the gizmos - not even the radio. It's a bonding thing. I'll do the same when my ZS arrives. I drive my cars, not them drive me.
