Album art issues - any way to just switch album art off?

I play music via Spotify and videos via YouTube or Binge, with the audio going through the MG4 speakers via Bluetooth. When playing music the album art is almost always wrong, usually showing either the album cover of an album I've played previously or the thumbnail of a YouTube video played previously. I've been searching the net and this looks like a persistent problem with multiple combinations of car or phone so I accept there may not be an easy solution to getting the album art right... so the next best thing would be the ability to turn the album art off (I would happily have no art, better than wrong art). I've combed through all of the menus in the settings in both the MG4 system and in Spotify and can't seem to find an option that allows this. Surely it would be an easy feature to add in a software update.

Has anyone experienced and / or solved this issue?
