Anybody shod their car in Mich CC3s yet?
I’ve got them on the front, having done the rears in CC2. Not noticing much between the 2 and 3 to be honest. Both feel great on the carAnybody shod their car in Mich CC3s yet?
Presumably 17 inch? My understanding is that Michelin are not producing CC3s for 18 inch wheels. Would be delighted to be proved wrong!I’ve got them on the front, having done the rears in CC2. Not noticing much between the 2 and 3 to be honest. Both feel great on the car
Can't get them in 235 at the moment it seemsVariety of CC3s on black circles in 18s didn't see 235s though
Meant 235/45s
Just 235/50 R18s and 235/55 R18sCan't get them in 235 at the moment it seems
All manufacturers will be asking a computer what the best combo thread pattern is, and the computer will spit out the same answer for all of them. And I guess R&D will eventually converge to the best pattern anyway. The Kwik Fit chap showed me a Bridgestone tyre in the depot which was also very similar to the CC pattern.
I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and all that...
I guess that tread pattern with all the sipes is the most efficient at dealing with the white stuff.
Yep, 17s on my SEPresumably 17 inch? My understanding is that Michelin are not producing CC3s for 18 inch wheels. Would be delighted to be proved wrong!
From my own experience over many years of driving, tread patterns being similar has no indication that the tyres themselves will be of equal quality. That said, hopefully your tyres serve you well though. I’m happy with the Michelins for now anyway.Michelins are way too expensive. Just fitted four 215/50 R 17 Goodyear Vectors to my MG4 for £500 all in. Excellent performance and very similar tread pattern to the Michelins
