Today I had to drive from Bakewell to Barnsley, not usually a major feat, plenty of charge, A roads most of the way.
Except today there was Storm Abnet.
There was rain, there was water, there was traffic. It took three and a glass hours to do a one hour journey, we had to turn around 5 time due to flooding.
But my point, the ZS held its own, fording water upto a foot deep with no problem, handling the surface water with ease due to its weight, driving straight whilst others were aquaplaning....
It was a rough drive but the ZS handled it well, I dreaed ro think what it would have been like if I'd had to do it in a manual petrol car.
