Android Auto - Voice Commands Not Working Well

Hi all,

Just picked up the car, has an early software revision, will post below. Is this the cause of voice commands not working well? Basically if I ask it to do something when in Android Auto it says "what did you want to say" or similar and then very quickly "sorry I didn't hear you" or to that affect. The MG standard voice Comms work okay, it's almost like a bug in AA.

Phone is Pixel 9 Pro XL, car software is:
SWI68-29958-1300R30

I'm aware this is an old revision which is odd considering service history, but I kinda like that there is no status bar when in Android Auto.

You have standard voice commands in your MG? I can only use it from the screen and from the steering wheel when I'm connected to carplay.

Which exact model of ZS Hybrid+ do you have? The MG4 SE does not support voice commands, only the Trophy spec.

I am so sorry. I'm new here and l didn't realise at the time we have different models. I can't find an actual forum for general zs hybrid+ discussion.

Your posts here are almost certainly a result of the Similar Threads section at the bottom ... people very rarely look at which board a listed thread is actually in.

New members mostly trying to find their way around know nothing of this feature.

I'm on my mobile. There are other similar threads listed, but l don't see one for just the hybrid. And there not really similar bcos they are mostly mg4's & EV threads. I did a search and it brings up the discussion threads only.

On a PC it shows me the threads and the board each thread exists in.

Example:

Hardly anyone (who looks at this section) notices the board that each listed post exists in. That's usually why people comment on posts in boards which are not related to their own car model.
