Android Auto wireless adapter not showing Google maps.

Hi everyone! Can someone help me set up my Android Auto Wireless Adapter? I purchased it from this link Adapter Everything works except for Google Maps. Google Maps functions on my phone, but it doesn't appear on the car's infotainment system. When I connect my phone to the car's USB port, Google Maps displays correctly, but the wireless adapter doesn't seem to do the same. Could someone please help me? Maybe there's a setting I need to enable? I really appreciate any assistance. Thank you!

Not all Android apps are allowed to run in Android Auto. I think it's to make sure that you can't see anything distracting like a movie while driving. But I would have thought that Google Maps would be a definite one to allow.

I know right? The reason why I purchased the adapter is for Google maps

Google Maps ARE cleared for Android Auto. That is NOT the cause of OP's issue.

I did a quick search online, and here are two suggestions:

• have you checked you have the latest software running on the wireless adapter?
• are you running a beta version of Google Maps?

Also check if you have the latest software update of Android Auto on your phone. I sometimes get messages to say that if I dont update the app, some functions will not work.
