Another tyre question

MG5 Trophy - on checking the tyre websites (e.g. black circles and asda) I put in my reg no and it says that the correct tyres are 215/55/17. However, the tyres fitted to my car are 215/50/17 - Premitra 5.

Is this correct, and what size are your 17 inch wheels fitted with?

And yet the manual says that my tyres are correct, so someone's database is wrong...
