Anyone had a paint job done in black ZS EV Trophy LR - Kids and bikes!!!

So I was sitting in the house car parked outside when I heard a noise. Went out to find to kids of about 11 (well that's the descriptive, not my choice given the abusive language hurled my way) on bikes, one of them had fallen off onto my car!!!

Large scratch offside rear. Kids suggested I go to Asda and get a marker pen! Went to parents house - not interested.

So I am left with minor repair and paint job, has any one had a paint job done in black and if so was there any delay in paint availability, and did you use MG dealership?

Any proper paint shop can mix the colour.
If you have witnesses, go through the small claims court and get the money from the parents.

Advice call police you don't want mum and dad 3 days later claiming you run a kid over. You don't need that pushed if you don't want to but get incident number to cover your ass.

Definitely inform the police at the very least and get an incident number. If the parents of these "kids" won't pay for the damage then the small claims court is a simple and fairly easy option to force them to pay up. Even a small paint repair can be quite expensive. Don't go to the main dealership, they will overcharge for repairs like this and probably outsource the repair to a specialist paint shop anyway. Better to go to the specialist yourself and cut out the middle man.
