Apple Car Play using Wireless Dongle

Morning All! Just wondering if anyone has had success using a wireless dongle to connect their phone to Apple Car Play in the HS PHEV? I'd like to avoid trailing cables from the USB port if I can. TIA.

@Lex in Holland - Correct my if I am wrong, but I believe that you have the older (2020-2024) MG HS. This thread is for the newer (2025) MG HS version.
=> It may be that your wireless dongle might only work on the older HS.

I’ve bought this one and so far it has worked perfectly. Only one day into owning the HS PHEV but so far, I’ve been very impressed. Need to sort out the headrest position though. They don’t feel comfortable.

I tested it just now (using my Android phone) and it seems to work perfectly

• Time will tell if it is OK in the long-run, but (for now) it seems to work very nicely.

I've been using these in different cars for a few years now.

I couldn't get mine to work in the HS, but it was working in my Wife's car. I got a new one and it has been fine since.
