So, to get back to the original question of whether we're seeing an empire collapse in real time. Let's consider the evidence. These are Trump's achievements:-

  • Cover up of his involvement in notorious sex trafficking ring
  • Unprecedented corruption, self enrichment
  • Tariffs - an historic, unprecedented abuse of power
  • Illegal desecration of most important global symbol of American democracy
  • abandonment of Ukraine and European allies, appeasement of Putin
  • extraordinary assault on the health care system and the public’s health
  • setting the engines of US prosperity on fire, ceding the future to China
  • starving Americans to gain leverage in Hill negotiations
  • killing of 15 million of poorest people in the world through vapourizing of USAID
  • use of Marines against Americans, trampling of due process, disappearing innocent people to foreign gulags
  • illegal killings of people in boats on the high seas
  • profound physical and cognitive decline, often appears confused and frequently confabulates
  • high likelihood he is compromised by a hostile foreign power, or hostile foreign powers
  • weaponizing DOJ to pursue his political opponents

    I rest my case...

If he'd said that in earshot of my cousin's husband, the Secret Service wouldn't have had a chance to save the Orange Baby ... he'd have had him down and done in a flash.

(He owes his life to a serviceman who dived onto him and covered him with his body when the Taliban made an RPG and AK47 attack on their compound in Helmand. Shrapnel and bullets hit [and killed] him rather than my cousin's husband. Every year he celebrates the memory of that soldier on the anniversary of the attack).

Please, don't rest your case! There is so much more both foreign and internal policies which are morally corrupt.
I personally feel for Cole Palmer who must be conflicted, he had the right and the opportunity to splatter the orange nose after he stole a medal and hogged a Trophy ( football not MG ) yet showed a level of restrain not in line with his Mancunian upbringing. Next time mate, next time.

The Trumps family have NEVER EVER served their country in 150 years! They dodged 2 world wars. The Korean conflict and The Vietnam war.

They were not on the front lines! They were actually the only units skilled enough to operate behind enemy lines!
Tasked with guiding US missile and artillery strikes and also killing several ruthless Taliban commanders in their own back yard.

Another Canadian military officer described a scene he came across in the protective zone.

I wasn't sure if I should use a laugh emoji or a sad emoji, there was no eye roll emoji so I could only thing of the WTF looking emoji ...... Judging by the make-up, he is a good an associate of the orange buffoon ..... Is he really stupid enough to think that sucking up to Trump will help him in the least ..... he'll just be thrown under the bus like everyone else that hasn't stood up to him.

I'm not saying they are finished, but I am saying they are severely weakened and the longer Trump remains the President, the weaker they will look to the rest of the world ....

Putin will be rubbing his hands in glee. Just hope it runs out soon as he's taking advantage of his puppets inability to make coherent decisions and bombing the shit out of Ukraine while the supposed peace talks take place.

Maybe, now Europe has found its feet and are willing to push back against Trump, maybe they will next push back against Putin and support Ukraine the way they are supporting Greenland.

One good thing came out of this, 2 tier looks like he has scrapped the chagos deal handing the islands to Mauritius costing up to 40 billion pounds! So hooray for that
 
Pam Bondi (current US Attorney General and Trump loyalist) has today written to the Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, saying that ICE will be withdrawn from the state. But only in exchange for the state handing over all of its voter rolls - names, addresses, political affiliations, etc. - as well as its records on Medicaid, and Food and Nutrition Service programs.

Seems it's not about immigrants after all. Just good old-fashioned electoral fraud with a side order of extortion.

10 years ago , remember that , I predicted WW3 for 2026 , should have gone to Ladbrokes ? if Mexico win the World Cup, it would be almost a certainly I'd say. Bit like Jesse Owens in Berlin the final insult to the narrative being spouted at the time .
