Yesterday at the umpteenth attempt over the course of two years I have managed to get the drivers side washer jet to hit the right spot on the windscreen . Previously its either too high up , with 60% of the liquid going on the roof or too low and hitting the bottom of the wiper arm and then what ever gets on the screen being immediately swept into the scuttle on the return sweep of the wiper. Such joy from small successes
Having come 5th in the Auto Trader DIY mechanic of the year , Northern heat 1990, I cannot believe that this puny little item has caused so much hassle ! An electricians flat bladed screwdriver is the preferred tool for adjustment.
