Audio quality Apple Car play Vs Radio

Hello,

MG4 SE Long Range.

My audio quality on Apple Car Play/Spotify is terrible compared to the radio. All tinny and crackly at volume.

Have played with and adjusted all the settings without success.

I also am using an apple lead and have tried others without success.


Anyone experienced similar?

Also how do you get the DAB radio pictures to come up!??

I'm thinking maybe the port but one thing you could try is a wireless car play device as they work over wifi but still use the port. hopefully just unlucky with cables though and nothing too serious.

I use CarPlay to play speech and music all the time, mostly on the wired connection, but also sometimes Bluetooth,and have had no problem with quality whatsoever.

Sorry, I just noticed that this was on the MG4, I have MGS5 Trophy, so ignore me…
