Auto lights with wipers ?

can anyone tell me if you can get the headlights on when it’s raining. In my old car if it started raining ( which activates the windscreen wipers) the car lights would come on. Having just got caught in heavy rain I’ve just realised this is not happening in the IM6 does anyone know if it’s possible to automate this, I’ve been looking in the settings and can’t find anything.

Nope. But never had that on any car…. And annoyingly it seems you cannot add the headlights as a widget so you have to search to switch them on.

Cheers Mike, had the option in both my enyaq & bmw ix, I was a little surprised to find it not automated in the IM6 - maybe an update sometime.
Not even sure how to turn the headlight on to be honest, I’ve always just had them on auto !

I had to look when I got home today - press the car symbol on the bottom screen and selectlights then you can switch low beam/side lights on. Unfortunately, it cannot be added as a widget.

Hi Mike, I don’t think there is one but it would make the car a lot safer to drive in bad weather if you could. I was so surprised that they did t come on automatically when the wipers come on during rain.
Perhaps @Miles Roberts CG may be able to pick this thread up and ask the question.
