Auto lock driving away

Hi all,

Werid things are going on with my central locking.

The autolock when pulling away sometimes locks then imediatley unlocks, has happened a couple of times now, i can relock it by pushing the lock button and it stays locked.

And at times, pulling up and switching the car off and the rear right door is locked, not checked the others, I use this door to get the dogs out, pushing the button on the front door handle unlocks the doors.

Any views ?

That sounds weird. I have had the odd issue where it doesn't autolock until about 20mph, but no other issues, Sounds like a software problem somewhere?

Just a thought have you tried the spare remote for the car sometimes low battery on the remote could cause the autolock to malfunction? Try that first . failing that could be a dealership check for body control module check ?

The cars one month old. Hope it's not a dead battery already.

It's worth trying the other remote just to see , I didn't mean the cars 12 volt battery? Incase you were thinking that ? Failing that it's new so could just require a 12 volt battery reset. Warranty

That's normal behaviour. I think it's meant to be 10mph.

Non, I know you meant the keyfob battery.
Being keyless entry, I do keep the key in my left pocket, being a LHD maybe I should change pockets

Have you double checked the tailgate is closed properly have to give it a good slam to close it, if it's not closed properly autolock won't work ?

I think I've only opened the boot 3 times since getting the car.
