I’d like to be able to turn the lights (at least the daytime running lights) on manually, but set them to turn off automatically when I lock the car. Is this possible?

Not quite sure I understand the question. The daytime running lights at the front come on when you start the car and go off when you lock it.

The dipped headlights and sidelights come on automatically by default if the light level is below a certain level. You can override that by switching them to manual via the lighting stalk on the steering wheel but if you turn them on manually they will remain on when you lock the car so remember to switch them off.

The auto main beam can be turned off in the settings.

Thanks very much for your answers guys. This is a bit awkward to check especially if I need to be sitting in the car, but I didn’t think the DRLs were coming on as a matter of course during the daytime. I seem to have to turn them on manually (unless they’re set to ‘Auto’ and it’s dark), which of course also means having to remember to turn them off manually, which is a bit of a pain. Maybe I need to park in front of a shop with a big window so I can see the reflection and work out what’s goin on 😄. It’d also be nice to have this same ‘Manual on - Auto off’ option with the headlights themselves, like my 20 year old Subaru did. I was able to choose when I wanted the lights on and which ones - and everything just shut off automatically when you locked the car, which probably saved a few flat batteries.

Thanks very much Alb. I did indeed get the other half to check this afternoon and the DRLs appear to be working. I think I was thrown by the fact that the indicator icons on the dash light up at first when you turn the car on, but then after a few seconds, they go out. I suppose I'd assumed that if the indicator icons were out, then the DRLs weren't working. Apparently not.
