Mine is 2021 also. I will try and find out before I go, otherwise I will post as soon as they tell me

The car goes back to the dealer in the 26th for a recall. I wonder if that is the reason for it.

No it’s a earthing check, now you need to look after your new battery

Sorry it has taken so long as I have been offline for a while. I did not get anything regarding the recall as the dealer said it was previously done in April

The COVId era cars have lots of 12V battery issues . Some people have postulated that this is because these batteries were left static in parked vehicles for long periods, degrading battery life. This is not unique to MG , and you will see it reported in all makes . 12V batteries in my experience last around 2 years , which is what the Australian MG warranty covers .
