Battery Heating set to charge - Inefficiency

I just managed to get the excellent Home Assistant MG4 add on to work and scrolled through the sensors and settings. Absolutely fantastic, however I noticed that my car was set to heat the battery at 5:30am every morning. I have absolutely no idea how this happened as I turned this function off the day I got the car 2yrs ago.

So a quick warning to others who find the car battery seems to provide less range than they expected....double check that the battery heating function is off. I would never have seen this problem without installing the app - but I had noticed the car seemed very inefficient and just put it down to being winter....

So I assume you turned it off, did it stay off or has it come back on again ?

yes - turned it off and so far it has stayed off. I am wondering why it ever was on....got another glitch on the car now....bizarre it does a double beep randomly - the sort you get when you lock the car and have left the door open....did it when I was driving the other day and also when I was parked.
