Best dash cam position FL

Finally got round to fitting my dash cam in the FL and looking for advice/tips on best place to mount the front camera.
I’ve placed it to the side of the rear view mirror like I did in my PFL, this seems to be the best place to avoid blocking my view. But in the FL the housing behind the mirror blocks some of the dash cam view creating a black spot.
Can’t see any previous posts so asking where people have mounted theirs?

I guess that depends on the lens location of your dashcam. I have mine to the left of the rear view mirror, same position as yours, and the camera can see fine, with no blocking.
