After trying to hunt down annoying rattle after squeak I'm on the boot door rattle issue. I've tried adjusting the latch and bump stops but it appears to be the interior plastic trim. Just wondering if anyone has removed this and if there's any hidden screws I need to watch out for?

Well i've been hunting this bloomin' rattle for months (on and off). It's been really annoying. I've had lots of trim out, adjusted the boot door a few times and still there.

In the end I've I located it, and can you guess what it was........................ The number plate

Turns out the dealer had not tightened up the plastic screwhead and instead must have tried to make them line up vertically. A little nipping up and said rattle is gone. I've always double-sided number plates on so never come across this issue before. Thought I would post, as rattles can drive anyone mad.

It's amazing how something so simple can have you tearing your hair out. (y)
