Biscuit tin works if you've got one around the house empty. Check it closes fully enough to stop signal being received by putting the keys inside and trying to unlock with the door handle/ boot buttons. You can send me the cost of a Faraday pouch as a thank you!

I had assumed our metal bowl (a key bowl made of old keys melted/soldered together) would do the job but it seems not. Perhaps because it didn't have a lid on it.

This was mentioned on the news the other day, I can't remember the figure but a quick search suggests about 2/3 of car thefts are from these types of attacks, so definitely worth investing in a metal box. (I seem to remember the news said about 1/3 but either way it's a fair amount)
