I have yet to regret my decision to go Granny-only. There seems to be plenty of time between midnight and 7am to charge for my needs.

Many nights I don't even plug in, I wait until I am below 50% and the one night that I wanted 100% for a long trip, there was no problem at all.

Agree, Granny only, can suit a lot of folk.
🙂👍

Very few people who go EV ever go back, it's just so easy and spacious.
In the same vein, granny is fine if you don't do a lot of mileage but once you go for a wallbox you'll never go back either, less hassle, less worry.

P.S. congrats :D

Any advice is very welcome I’m interested to see everything pans out 👍

I used the granny charger for a bit, and even though I only do about 6000 miles a year I found it a pain and slow. Haven't regretted getting the 7kw charger.

Which charger are you getting?

I went for a tethered charger as well, make sure the cable is long enough for what you need now and any car you might get with the charge port in different positions. It wasn't something I'd thought about until I watched a youtube video, so i went for 10 metres which means I don't have to worry about where the car is on the drive.
