Wonder if anyone can help? Bought the car brand new and it’s currently 10 months old with approx 4,000 miles on the clock. Its due its first service in November and I’m wondering if the discs or pads need replaced, would that be covered by the Warranty? It’s an Arnold Clark dealership near me and we all know the reputation they have! Any advice would be appreciated👍

What makes you ask this question? Brake discs and pads should last considerably longer than that, especially in an EV / Hybrid where regenerative breaking is used.

Personally I would put it into the dealership first . The disks and pads are covered by warranty 12 months or 15000 miles whichever comes first. Wouldn't worry the disks and pads should last a lot longer than the first service. The first service shouldn't be expensive it's just an oil and filter change and inspection and maybe software updates.?
