Brakes sharp

I have just ordered a ZS EV Trophy SR in Pearl Black:
The test drive model had incredibly sharp brakes. Too a lot of getting used to.
I am slightly concerned my new one (expected in July) will be as sharp. I really prefer a smoother braking.
Question: is this something I will have to get used to or is it able to be adjusted?
This is my first EV after a 2.25 Turbo Diesl SUV.

My brakes locked when I touched the brake pedal at first, need a very light touch, I got used to it

Yes, tried all the modes and KERS settings. Brakes were okay at town speeds but at low speed needed the barest touch for you to jolt forward.
I did find that KERS on 3 meant I needed less brakes when driving but didn’t expect such a sharp stop at low speed.

Yes the brakes are keen in ZS EV, You need a really light touch compared to my other cars, I soon got used to it after a few trips.
