My cousin broke down in France and had to leave he car there for repair. Something about electronic stability control. Now it’s been repaired, she has to go and get it, at her cost. Does that sound right?
How long was the car in the garage?, does your cousin live in France or somewhere else?, does she have to pay for the repairs, or the cost of travelling to collect it, or both?
It was in the garage just over a week I think, after originally being told it could be 2 months. The car is new, under warranty, and she lives in the uk. It’s the cost of collecting that she has to pay.
Unfortunately MG don't cover recovery from Europe under their warranty. I know as I checked this out prior to purchase as I had a previous electric vehicle break down for 8 months in Greece. It is therefore at CS discretion whether they reimburse your daughter.
I recently spent a month in France and took out recovery cover just in case, as although repairs would be covered I would have preferred to have it recovered to the UK to my local garage just in case there was a delay in getting parts
