BT-Music while using CarPlay

Hi,
is it possible to use navigation over Apple Carplay and play music over Bluetooth? Unfortually my private Android phone won`t connect to Adroid Auto and on my company phone I cannot use my private accounts for music and audiobooks.

When I tried it today I couldn`t find Bluetooth music after connecting the iPhone.

When I tried it today I couldn`t find blutooth music after connecting the iphone.

My son just helped me through this problem.

For Android:
Download CARPLAY on your phone
Plug phone into the car usb
Pair it (the software not the phone which should already be paired)
It should show up on your screen over MG screen

Now to get back to the MG screen which you'll need to control vehicle settings, you hit the home button in carplay, maybe twice and then MG home screen will show again.

I only use car play for long trips and music of my choice, I'm a bit distracted switching from both when needed.

Hello, are you using the original carplay? If it is a post-installed MMI module, you can use the original car Bluetooth channel

No, I use the built in Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
